How we measure prices, stock and unit metrics

We poll each provider’s public catalog, order pages or APIs every 15 minutes. Every change in price, stock or spec is stored with the time it was first and last seen, so history is exact to the poll interval.

Prices

All prices are excl. VAT. When a provider publishes a currency natively we use that price; otherwise we convert at the daily reference rate and mark the price as converted.

Effective monthly = monthly + setup / 12. Term prices (prepaid or committed) are shown separately as "on term".

Unknown is not zero

When a provider does not publish a value — stock level, traffic allowance, a benchmark — we show "not published" and leave the offer out of rankings that need it. We never fill gaps with guesses.

Benchmarks

Provider-specific CPU scores (for example the scores OVHcloud or Hetzner publish) are shown only on the offers they belong to, labelled with their source, and never ranked against each other. Cross-provider benchmark data will come from reproducible public datasets with attribution.
